Abstract:

Using the density-dependent equation of states to describe the matter of rotating neutron stars, we construct equilibrium configurations of rotating neutron stars. The interaction between baryons is described by exchanging the scalar and vector mesons in the relativistic mean-field theory. The mesons coupling coefficients are functions of the environmental density. The sequence of equilibrium states is calculated for the four frequencies observed for rotating neutron stars namely, 25, 317, 716, and 1122 Hz. These sequences are constrained by static, Keplerian (mass-shedding sequence), and secular axisymmetric instability sequences. This allows the radius and mass range of the stars will be obtained in each of the models. We can also calculate the parameters of the fastest rotating star described by each model.

Abstract:

In this work, we review the formalism which would allow us to model magnetically deformed neutron stars. We study the e ect of di erent magnetic eld con gurations on the equation of state (EoS) and the structure of such stars. For this aim, the EoS of magnetars is acquired by using the lowest order constraint varia-tional (LOCV) method and employing the AV18 potential. We show how the magnetic eld varies from the surface to the center of neutron star by using various exponential and polynomial pro les and compare their results. In addition, global properties of neutron stars are obtained within two formalisms. The rst formalism is described by considering the pressure into two directions and the deformation of neutron stars is governed by anisotropies in the equation of state. The second formalism for in-vestigating macroscopic properties of magnetars is gained by treating the nonuniform pressure as a perturbation to the total pressure and expanding metric and pressure up to the quadrupole term in spherical harmonics. Afterwards, we include three nucleon interactions (TNI) to the EoS and apply this model to represent our results for both exponential and polynomial magnetic eld pro les. The maximum gravitational mass is obtained in the range of (1. 71-1. 80) M and (2. 13-2. 19) M for the EoS without and with TNI contribution, respectively.

In the present work, we have obtained the equation of state for neutron star matter considering the in uence of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic spin state. We have also investigated the structure of neutron stars. According to our results, the spin asymmetry stiffens the equation of state and leads to high mass for the neutron star.

Abstract:

Aims The use of intrauterine devices (IUDs) has been one of the most effective, the safest and cost-effective methods for preventing pregnancy, for a long time. However, some complications have been reported for IUDs. The complications may be reduced by using a specific technique for placement of IUD. The objective of this study was to introduce the rotating withdrawal technique for the first time, which was investigated to reduce the complications of IUD insertion. Materials & Methods This historical cohort study was conducted on 1199 females who referred to Sarem Medical Center for IUD insertion from 1984 to 1995. After primary examinations, IUD was inserted by rotating withdrawal technique. The subjects were followed up for 2 years. Findings Displacement was observed just in 20 cases (1. 67%). All of them were seen in the first month after placement. For these cases, IUD insertion was done again. After the second replacement, displacement was observed in 4 cases (0. 035%) after one month. Therefore, it was recommended to them to use another preventive method. There was no pregnancy or displacement in the other cases during 2 years. Conclusion The rotating withdrawal technique can minimize the pregnancy rate when IUD is used. In addition to the type and quality of IUD, insertion method of IUD can increase its effectiveness.

Introduction: This study touches on identification of Sea stars and Brittle stars species in coast of Chabahar Gulf in the Oman Sea, IR. During November 2008 to September 2009.Method study: The area of study was at the farthest end of south east of Iran in province of Sistan and Balouchestan. Samplings were randomly done bimonthly during low tide from 5 stations, by using 1m×1m quadrate. Then, samples were counted, identified. Results: The results showed that 7 species of echinodermata including: Aquilonastra burtonii, Astropecten phragmorus, Astropecten hemprichi, Macrophiothrix elongate, Macrophiothrix cheneyi from 2classes Asteroidea and Ophiuroidea and from 3orders Spinulosa, Paxillosida, Ophiurida and 3 families Asterinidae, Astropectinidae, Ophiotrichidae. Discussion and Conclusion: Aquilonastra burtonii attendance was in all of the stations with the exception of station 5. Astropecten phragmorus was found in stations 2 and 4 and Astropecten hemprichi in stations 4 and 5. Macrophiothrix cheneyi and Macrophiothrix elongata were seen in stations 2, 3 and 4.

Abstract:

BRI-stars (Bridge Stream Tube model for Alluvial River Simulation) program was used to investigate the scour depth around bridge piers in some of the major river systems in Iran. Model calibration was performed by collecting different field data. Field data are cataloged on three categories. The first group of bridges having river beds formed by fine material (i.e., silt and lay), the second group of bridges having river beds formed by sand material, and finally, bridges having river beds formed by gravel or cobble materials. Verification involved application and comparison of the model to different known real-life cases. The results of this comparison determine the validity and quality of the calibration. Verification was performed with some field data in Fars Province. The scour depths of various bridges located in Iran during significant floods were calculated. The bridges are located in three different locations with different bed materials such as: the Ghadir Bridge on the Zayanderood River, the Khan Bridge River and the Chame Sohrabkhani Bridge on Kor. Results show that for wide piers, computed scour depth is more than the measured depth. In gravel bed streams, the computed scour depth is also greater than measured scour depth, the reason is due to the formation of the armor layer on the bed of the channel. Once this layer is eroded, the computed scour depth is close to the measured one.

Abstract:

The present article investigates Molavi’s special point of view concerning heavens and stars and the way they are linked with his mystical thoughts and moral instructions. To achieve this purpose, the document searching approach is applied to gather information and analytic, descriptive approach is used for analysing data. A major finding is that Molavi has formed some aspects of his own complex symbolism by using mysterious heaven by creating various semantic features and countless ambiguities. This is to some extent based on the Quran’s instructions and shows Molavi’s attitude towards the sky as one of God’s important signs and thus as a delibaratable and expedient case.
